ASIA'S ENVIRONMENT / By OnAsia Photographers. Never far from the headlines, the environment is back in the spotlight again in the run up to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen this December. To illustrate the huge environmental challenges in Asia, OnAsia has put together a stunning showcase of imagery which documents the effects of pollution and climate change in Asia while offering some positive examples of environmental activism and initiatives in the region. Home to the world’s most populous, industrious and fastest growing economies, Asia is in the frontline of the environmental debate.
